Why We Don't Interview

Traditional interviews measure one thing: how well you perform in a traditional interview. They reward confidence over competence, polish over performance, and charm over character. We have all seen the candidate who "interviewed brilliantly" only to struggle in the actual role. Interviews do not predict success. They predict interview skills.

Zibuke OnCall does not hire through interviews for the same reason we do not test pilots by asking them to describe flying. We test you by giving you the controls. The Accountability Assessment is our practical interview. You demonstrate your ability by doing the actual work.

🚚 The Benchmark: 30 Jobs

To pass the Accountability Assessment and secure your position as a Driver, you must complete 30 collection and delivery jobs. This is not a quota. It is a character and capability benchmark. It proves:

  • Reliability: You show up on time, every time. Customers depend on you to collect and deliver their appliances when promised.
  • Care: You handle every appliance as if it were your own. No scratches, no dents, no broken handles. Treat every customer's home with respect.
  • Communication: You keep customers informed. If there is a delay, you call ahead. If you cannot find the address, you ask for directions.
  • Accountability: You take ownership of every job. No excuses. No blaming traffic. You find a way to deliver on your promise.
  • Generosity: You approach every customer interaction wanting to help. A smile, a friendly word, and careful handling go a long way.

These five qualities cannot be assessed in a 30-minute interview. They can only be demonstrated through action. That is why the Accountability Assessment exists. Only those who are accountable can thrive at Zibuke OnCall.

📋 How the Assessment Works

Apply Below

Submit your application. We review for basic eligibility (valid driver's licence, South African residency, reliable transport, genuine interest in logistics work).

Onboarding & Assessment

If accepted, you begin a commission-only assessment period. You complete real collection and delivery jobs under the supervision of our Logistics Manager. You earn a commission on every completed job. There is no basic salary during the assessment.

Complete 30 Jobs

Your target: 30 completed jobs within 3 months (90 days). Each job must be logged with customer confirmation that the appliance was collected or delivered safely. You have full access to our vehicles, fuel, and support from the Logistics Manager.

Pass & Permanent Position

When you complete your 30th job, you are confirmed as a permanent Driver at Zibuke OnCall. You transition to a full salary with benefits. Your assessment period proves you have the reliability and accountability to handle collections and deliveries with care.

⚠️ If You Don't Reach 30

If you do not complete 30 jobs within the assessment period, you will not pass the Accountability Assessment. You keep the commission you earned on every job. This is a far better outcome than a traditional interview rejection with nothing to show for it.

Register for the Driver Assessment

This form is a registration to undergo the Accountability Assessment for the Driver position. You do not become an employee by submitting this form. You become an employee by passing the Accountability Assessment (completing 30 jobs within 3 months). Once you pass, you are confirmed as a permanent Driver.

APPLICATION SUBMITTED

We review every application personally. If selected, you will receive onboarding details within 7 working days. Your Accountability Assessment starts with your first day. Complete 30 jobs to secure your permanent position.
