Our Mission: No Homeowner or Business Should Face Unexpected Repair, Maintenance or Breakdown Bills
Built on accountability. Driven by results. Trusted by South Africans.
The Problem We Solve: Unexpected Repairs, Damage and Breakdowns Cost Thousands
South African homeowners and businesses face unpredictable repair and maintenance costs for appliances, equipment, landscape and other immovable assets that degrade, get damaged or break down. These costs can range from R500 for a simple plumbing fix to R15,000 or more for a major appliance replacement or electrical failure. Landscape neglect costs homeowners thousands in garden rehabilitation after seasonal damage. Zibuke OnCall eliminates these unexpected costs with a single, predictable monthly subscription.

Our Accountability Culture: The Foundation of Everything We Do
Accountability is not a policy we post on a wall. It is not a slogan we print on T-shirts. Accountability is the operating system of Zibuke OnCall.
Every person who joins Zibuke OnCall β whether a sales representative, technician, driver, or manager β must demonstrate accountability through measurable results before they are permanently hired. And every employee continues to demonstrate it every single day. This is how we guarantee that the promises we make to our customers are kept.
What Accountability Means at Zibuke OnCall
1. Doing what you say you will do
When we promise a 5-hour emergency response, we deliver. When we promise to repair your appliance, we repair it. When we promise to keep your service active during payment pause, we keep it active.
2. Being honest about what you have and have not done
We do not hide delays. We do not make excuses. We tell you exactly what is happening with your repair, your delivery, and your service. Transparency is our commitment.
3. Taking ownership of your results, good or bad
When a repair is completed perfectly, we own the success. When a delivery is late, we own the failure. Every person at Zibuke OnCall is accountable for their own results.
4. Demonstrating your commitment through measurable actions
We do not measure accountability by intentions. We measure it by results. Sales representatives must sell a minimum number of packages. Technicians must complete repairs without callbacks. Drivers must deliver on time. Numbers do not lie.
5. Being reliable. People can count on you.
Our customers trust us because we show up. Our employees trust us because we pay fairly. Our partners trust us because we deliver on our promises. Reliability is the foundation of every relationship we build.
How Accountability Operates Across Every Department

Two Accountability Systems: One for Candidates, One for Employees
1. The Accountability Assessment (for Candidates)
Every person who joins Zibuke OnCall β whether Sales Manager, Sales Representative, Intern, Technician, or Driver β must prove they are accountable before they are permanently hired. The assessment is not a test. It is a demonstration. Sales candidates must sell 45 active subscriptions. Technicians must complete 48 repairs without callback. Drivers must complete 70 collection and delivery jobs on time. If they succeed, they are hired permanently. If they fail, they are released with what they earned.
2. The Accountability Score (Bars) (for Employees)
After passing their assessment, employees earn bars for exceeding their monthly targets. Bars determine their annual bonus. Sales representatives earn 1 bar per package sold above 20 per month. Sales managers earn 1 bar per 3 extra packages sold above target by their team. Both systems are tracked automatically and displayed in each employee's portal.
Our Accountability to Customers: We Keep Our Promises
Accountability extends beyond employees to customers. When you subscribe to Zibuke OnCall, the company makes a promise: your appliances will be repaired quickly, correctly, and with care. This promise is demonstrated through:
Service Level Commitments
5-hour emergency response for electrical and plumbing, next business day for handyman, 3-hour emergency response for corporate customers.
Repair Transparency
Track your appliance repair in real-time through the portal, with seven distinct statuses from Received to Delivered.
Proactive Notifications
Payment reminders, repair status updates, and delivery scheduling β you are notified before you have to ask.
The Loyalty Discount
Customers who remain claim-free earn increasing discounts on their subscription, eventually reaching R0 per month.
The Payment Pause Feature
If you don't use the service, your payment is paused while the service stays active. This is the ultimate accountability: we only charge you when you need us.
The Payment Pause Difference: We Only Charge You When You Need Us
For monthly plans: your payment is paused after the first month if you have not used the service, and resumes only after your first repair. For annual plans: your payment is paused if you have not used the service, and resumes only after your first repair. Your service stays active even when your payment is paused. You can still book oncall, request repairs, and use all portal features.
Month 1
Pay and subscribe. Your plan is active.
Month 2 Onwards
Payment paused if no service used. Service stays active.
When You Need Us
Payment resumes. Repair is completed. You only pay when you use it.
This is our accountability to you: we will not take your money if we are not providing you with value.
Our Service Commitments: Measurable Promises We Keep
Every service type comes with explicit SLAs backed by our accountability culture.
